Pentax 6x7

The Pentax 6x7 is Finn Ickler’s current medium format 6x7 camera. Ickler found that the Mamiya RB67 was too heavy and unwieldy for his needs, so he started searching for an SLR-style 6x7 medium format camera to suit his handheld shooting style. He eventually acquired the Pentax 6x7 from Goodwill in the United States and used it extensively during his trip while filming the Super 8 project Vinalhaven. This camera is Ickler’s primary tool for portrait photography, though he also occasionally uses it for landscape and architectural work.
